With a farm mentor, I added beef cows to my CSA vegetable farm in June 2009.
My family, neighbors, and others were enlisted at various times to round up our calves when something went wrong with the polywire fence. They escaped at least 6 times during the 16 months we raised them.
I am asking for $5000 to help us clear out the old fence rows and install a high tensile electric fence around 15 acres. Good fences make good neighbors. Cows in the neighbor\’s corn… not so much.
